Converting Miliamps to amps?

What was the formula? Or is there even one?

  1. there are 1000 milliamps in 1 amp. If I had 560 milliamps and wanted to find how many amps that is, I would DIVIDE by 1000 (answer: 0.560 amps). If I had a number of amps and wanted to find milliamperes, I would MULTIPLY by 1000. So 0.560 amperes x 1000 would be 560 milliamperes.

    formula:
milliamps > amperes, divide by 1000
amperes > milliamps, multiply by 1000.

    hope this helps!

  2. As for formulas, remember V=IR, P=IV, E=Pt, and how to find out the cost of electricity (kW*h)
